Wow - five months on and photos from our Halloween 2010 - Judgement Day pub crawl are still cropping up on the web! I found this one while randomly searching for Dredd Movie images; it was taken in Drummonds Bar, Worcester, UK by Jon Rob Mapp;

I know this photo is a re-post, but it is possibly my favorite photo of me in my Judge Dredd costume last Halloween - so, indulge me! :-D
I’m working on another helmet, by the way…
…stay tuned!

If indecision is a crime then clearly I’m as guilty as a cat found sat licking his lips next to an suddenly empty fishbowl…
…but…
…you gotta admit…
…black, eh?
Yeah - despite my misgivings, advice from fellow Tumblrs and prolonged speil of a week ago I think that now the red frown and border are in place the helmet has been given back it’s shape and form despite the (cannonically accurate) blackness of the surface! So it stays black. To be honest the red against the blue put me in mind too much of the Union Jack for some reason anyway.
I need to tidy up the frown a bit by giving it a few more coats of Tamiya red acrylic paint to see off the brushmarks. Then the helmet is all but complete, bar the visor.
Visor. Visor? Visor?! Did we decide on a colour for that?!
Stay tuned.
